Did you know that March 6-12 is Professional Pet Sitters Week? That’s right! Even we have our week! What does this mean?
According to Pet Sitters International, it is a push to celebrate the role of professional pet sitters in today’s pet-care industry. With news releases on the national scene and support for individual pet sitters at the local level, PPSW tells pet owners about the benefits of in-home pet care.
This is also a time for professional pet sitters to give back to the animal community that supports the profession of pet sitting. Many professional pet sitters donate a portion of the week’s proceeds to their hometown animal charities.
So, Professional Pet Sitters Week means a lot of things. For me, I will honor my collegues in my local pet sitting network. They are truly amazing pet sitters!
