FAQ's

A: We are trustworthy, experienced, reliable pet sitters. First and foremost, we are passionate about pets. We are there on time and we carry out the responsibilities assigned to us in a caring, responsible manner. The Pet Sitter has been in business for 6 years and we are insured (see policy coverage/limits below). We are members of Pet Sitters International (PSI) and First Aid Certified. Each contracting pet sitter is hand selected and has a proven track record working with animals. If an emergency should occur, we will send a back-up sitter.  We cover Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Kuna and Hidden Springs.
A: We leave notes or send emails documenting everything that happened during our visit. We include detail on your pet's health, happiness level, and eating patterns, etc. We also comment on the status of your home. We also encourage you to call or email anytime to check in. We also use pet sitting software so that we can verify all visits were made as scheduled.
A: We require you notify us upon your return. If we don't hear from you, we call you. If we still don't hear from you, we continue our services until you return. The pets ALWAYS come first.

Q: Do you have black-out dates?

A: No. If one of our sitters is out due to illness, emergency or vacation, the other sitters take over his/her responsibilities. If this happens, we will make every attempt for you to meet your substitute sitter before you leave for your trip/vacation. All sitters are insured.

Q: Do you bring your children to pet sitting assignments in my home?:
A: No. We love children, but our focused attention is always on your pets while we are in your home. Children may unintentionally add liability and we would never subject our clients to the variety of risks associated with having children in your home and around your pets (i.e. getting bit, leaving doors open/pets escaping, etc.).
A: We prefer at least 2 days notice, but in an emergency situation, we will aim to meet with you immediately. The free consultation is an absolute requirement before we can do our first pet sitting visit. At the consultation we meet with you to discuss your specific needs, meet your pet(s) and take care of logistics such as the key exchange and contract signing.

A: We are only liable for damage from negligence or willfull misconduct.  For details, please ask us to share our insurance policy details with you. We are covered through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC. A summary of our coverage is as follows"
